What's crazy is Toyota allows the seat belt ding to be programmed off, which is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Yet there is no way to program the stupid Key in the Ignition dinger off. Still drives me crazy. Need to pull apart the steering wheel and disable one of these days.

I've thought the same.. so many people ask to have the noises turned off in the tune (the tune doesn't control it) I sometimes wonder how many people are out their driving without seat belts on or something?

I have mine disabled. Its mostly because I pile stuff in the passenger seat on occasion which is heavy enough to trip the sensor. Or I'm in and out a bunch of times at the farm moving around at 5-10 mph.

The reason I disabled my seatbelt chime is because if the truck is moving and your not buckled up it constantly goes off and I don’t put my seatbelt on just to move my trailer from the parking lot to the boat ramp at less than 15 mph.

Can the cables work that I use for my Techstream to work with OV?

I have two different cables that I can use with my laptop when I use techstream. When I flash with the OV software there is no way I'm going to risk using a different cable. It may work but why would you risk bricking your ECM?

If it’s able to send data to Techstream I don’t see it not working. Perhaps the man can shed some light?

I use the cable that came with my dongle for both flashing the truck and techstream

It's shit that keeps the original topic thriving during low latency information sharing of Original Topic.

And it's actually educational, which I like, cuz, all I can contribute is memes like this to keep the topic at least comical.

Anyone interested that has techstream and free time want to test and refine MT 1.05 power map, changes on this is power demand ratio closer to true throttle and not dynamically controlled throttle

I really need to buy a MT dev truck one day

TRD Exhaust, Mobtown bolt on sliders and aluminum tailgate reinforcement, Reverse lights changed to yellow turn signals, LED pods added for reverse, ADD W1 oil catch can, Total Chaos bed reinforcement, rear diff breather to taillight mod, 12" combo led bars behind lower grill wired to high beams, Toyota led bed light kit, 400 watt anytime mod, SSO slimeline front bumper.
Finally got my 2018 MT a week ago that I've been waiting for over 4 months for. Getting harder to put off ordering this tune. Would love more low end torque and better throttle response. Already have TRD exhaust and intake to try and help.
