Dude - you're missing out! Zucchini's awesome!

Spiralize it into noodles and make spaghetti with it, it's delish!

 

Nah, just never had it.
I ate Shrimp scampi with pasta and broccoli when I came into to work.

 

Sounds like I need to try it. I'm not much of a food connoisseur.

 

Some places have fried zucchini as an appetizer, that's a tasty way to try it if you've never had it.

 

See, now that hit my Southern roots

 

My wife got this thing called a "spiralizer", it looks like a little lathe almost.

You turn the crank and it spiralizes a vegetable into noodles, they're fantastic.

 

I read the crockpot slow cooker thread the other night. Something like that would be much easier for me since I'm on nights.

 

I may need to look in to one of those. I can’t wait til my garden starts putting out.

 

Yeah, with our work schedules we try to "bulk out" dinners for the week too.

She said she's making lasagna using sheets of zucchini this week. She's made it before, and it's incredible.

 

There are good ones and bad, if I remember I'll post what we have once I get home.

It works really nice!

 

We're in the city but right next to the Arboretum so we get some wildlife. There is a fox that frequents and I saw two large coons cross the street out front when I got here Thur night.

I was afraid the zucchini sheets would get mushy. They didn't at all!

Leftovers for us typically last about a week, and even setting in the fridge for a few days it all stayed firm.

 

I'm gonna have to try some zucchini.

 

All the cool kids are doin' it.

 

The first time WILL. BE. FRIED.

 

They're really good - especially with a little ranch dressing or bleu cheese.

 

I'll stick with Ranch
