    Going back to work tomorrow!

It’s been a long nine weeks away from my job. I’m pretty happy to be going back. Never thought I’d say that.

Took the drums off to clean them out, figured i'd adjust them while i was there b/c my pedal felt spongy/went very far.

they do have the star adjuster, trying to back them off is a major PITA

Ruined my brake cylinder just now trying to get my drums back off, backed everything off and got my wheel back on.

Gunna take the truck in to Les Schwab tomorrow morning and let them replace it since there is a one 500yds down the street from my apartment.

    embarrassing? yes

I may have tweaked a few things...
Anyone know the correct torque for u-bolts on 2nd gen TSB leafs? The AAL guide i’m following on TW says 75ftlbs but was posted in ‘09. My Haynes guide says only 37ftlbs for 05-14

Edit: found it, looks like the FSM was originally wrong and it’s 73 not 37

Not enough to have a build thread.
The torque for these u-bolts always amazes me. It's so low compared to what I'm used to. Typically overloaded constructions trucks that break a spring. Three passes ending in over 200 ft/lb

73 sounds about right. My 1st gen is 80 I believe. Need to retorque so I dont wind up like that third gen guy...

Yea. I know right? Weird concept of people using trucks as a means to get-together and talk about things they have common interest in. Sorry, didn’t read that bylaw in the Toyota manual.

p.s. it was at the local brewery. The horror!
