Ordered urd y pipe this morning! Should put my stage 3 clutch it when I do it but never have the time.

 

My old GTO used to have a "safety feature" called reduced power mode. The piece of crap. It reauired me to reset the check engine light before i could drive it again. Problem was, it would happen at any given moment even if I was in traffic, luckily it never did in traffic. My point is, it was a throttle body issues that would flare up intermittent. If you had a reduced power issue as well I would suspect a throttle body which is intermittently faulty. Be careful.

Hey guys any suggestion on aem afr wideband gauge was reading 14.7 or so at idle and while driving before going into boost. That was last night but this morning when I started up truck it is reading rich at 12.8-13. Do you think the sensor is going bad. Truck runs fine and no cel. This is first time this happened. Any suggestion on what I should check first. Thanks 2007 4.0 v6 automatic with supercharger.

 

I have that gauge too. How old is it? Weather changes? New gas at a new station? Those can change mine.

 

Maybe 4 months. We did get a heavy rain storm last night when I went out. You could feel the rain on the roads where it was pooling. You think that may have something to do with it. Would any cel set off due to this. As far as something not running right that may have affected the o2 sensor.

 

Give it a couple days. Or what I would do. Go out and run the hell out of your truck to clean things.

 

Ok. Yeah I just finished up batch of gas i got yesterday. I'm filling up now at different gas station and will run it hard like you said. Thanks for advice. Hopefully it's nothing.

Any engine runs in Open Loop for a brief moment of time which allows more fuel to be inj2cted into the cylinders due to the fact that fuel is harder to combust when it is being introduced into a colder combustion chamber.

Now my main question here would be if you are running a Bosch sensor or a Denso? If it is a Bosch your sensor is going to be defective in very short order.

 

Pulley man, how long do the bosch last? Do you buy denso online? Or go to auto zone, pay more, and take advantage of their warranty?

 

Found the problem was bad sensor. Thanks for advice again.

 

Well maybe I should install a larger pulley.....na! I thought about it for 5 periods though!
