First post. Currently have a 17 4Runner TRD ORP that my wife has adopted so planning to trade our Honda in for a Tacoma here in the next few months. In the mean time thought I’d share one of my bikes.

Nice spots man...even scored the mythic bear sighting! I have missed four bears underneath the lift where others saw them, but yet they still manage to elude me.

My 2016 Yeti ArcC bike I built up for XC racing here in the upper-Midwest. This was at a race just north of Green Bay, WI last October 2017.14CB1FE5-4AA7-423E-99A7-7E19427B2BD4.jpg

1.5 loops of Flow at Demo (Santa Cruz, CA). For those that know, the climb up Tractor is cut in half because of logging so you can only get back up to Segment 3. You can ride the Blue Groove from top to bottom. Awesome conditions!

I saw like 8 within 45 minutes heading up the gondola road on creekside! Surrounded at one time ,little scary since I was alone that morning.

Even if you can’t go too far up Tractor, you can always go back up Suffer (Sulphur) Springs to get all the way up for a second lap, then ride down Ridge a bit to the top of Flow. Was this your first time here? Did you ride up the paved road and around through Buzzard Lagoon and Aptos Creek Roads to come down Ridge from the highest point in the Forest? However you got there, glad you liked it. I’m too lazy to drive 40 minutes to Demo so usually just ride UC and Wilder from my house, which I did this morning. The exposed stuff is getting pretty dusty, but I was surprised how tacky it still is under the trees, after being off my bike (out of the country) for almost a month. One of the cool things about riding here, we saw the founder of a well-known local bike company riding this morning. He slowed down to say hi then dusted us on the climb :)

No, not my first time at Demo. But the first time in a couple of months. I was going to go up Suffer to hit Braille but I had to be back to the lot to catch a flight. I did leave enough time to grab some grub at Summit though.

Just picked up new bikes today! My friends and I scored some Giants and a Trek this weekend. I wish I was more thorough reading through this thread. We had hard time securing both bikes while driving 60 miles back home. We got lost in a sketchy neighborhood and had to re-tie both bikes on the side of the road lol.

I think I might try the 2x4 trick until I get my camper shell installed.

    Happy trails

Just got back from Summit on Friday which was awesome and got some local dh laps in today. Grab a tailgate pad man and you can fit 5 bikes no problem.

Strip the parts off, sand and spray paint. This will work for aluminum but I’m not sure about carbon.
