Good afternoon everyone! I've been reading a lot of the posts here and decided it's time to join the community.

After years of wanting a Tacoma, I finally pulled the trigger and purchased a 2018 TRD Sport in Mag grey. One of the first changes I'm looking to do to it is get it lifted and some awesome tires on it. I've seen all kinds of tire posts around here, all with varying opinions and recommendations, but I want to see what the most recent options may be.

I live in the PNW so I'm looking for all of our wonderful weather. I'm in need of something that's great in rain and snow and I'm sure that I'll be hitting some light mud from time to time. I don't foresee me doing any heavy off roading (yet anyways). I do freeway travel quite a bit as well.

I went to Les Schwab recently and they suggested some Toyo Open Country R/T's.

    What are your opinions?

Congrats and welcome!! Let's see the truck!

As for the tires, I have Falken Wildpeaks and I love them. I've used them in snow, sand, hard pack and my truck is my daily and they've held up great!

Looks like one of the local tire shops has a sale on them right now, too. I'll keep them in mind.

Howdy!! Newer member myself (stalked the chats for a while and finally joined). I've got a new set of the Toyo A/T 2's on my '15 and they are awesome!! Had them in the dirt/gravel and mud and they handle it all amazingly. They've got a few thousand highway miles from traveling all over Texas as well and the road noise is minimal. Little more expensive than other A/T's, but I'm definitely a fan (plus the 65k mile warranty aint bad either).
