MESO has his own thread where he sells all his new gear out of. I think its in the vendors section but I forget.... All I know is I'm always WAY late and never get in on the goodies cause internet beat me every time.

No one clarified how the housings were gonna be sold. Kinda sorta why I asked.

When they are for sale, I'll post a new thread in the FS section. I was waiting to get some feedback on some Beta models and so far everything looks good. Now just need to source all the little odds and ins. (bolts, gaskets, threaded clip adapters, etc) and start printing some housings.

2nd Gen is the same as 3rd Gen Access cabs, and no I haven’t finalized one for that model. I am working on it, but got sidetracked with some other things. Don’t worry, I always come through :D

I’m pretty sure it’s going to be on the 3rd Gen Tacoma parts marketplace. That’s usually where he releases them to.

So I can go ahead and order the lights and have that in hand when the mount is ready. I need to know which ones you will be printing. KC or BAJA.

Took some pictures of the KC diffuse lights in the bed. Taken in my garage which is pitch black.

Id say it does a pretty good job. That whole end of my garage was lite up

@mesojdm make that bevel on top level and make an opening for a antenna mount.....or just a cavity to drill your own.

I'd like to give the design engineer a 3 Stooges slap for fastening this light from the inside and then the quality. Glad @mesojdm didn't go to the same school. Waiting for sign that he's open for business on this

They wanted to add a truck bed light.... so complicate the simple. Engineering 101. The engineer was asleep at the wheel for troubleshooting 101.

I think the Toyota design/engineering teams figured that since the the new double cab brake light was LED, that it would never need to be serviced or lights replaced. Hence no easy access for removal. I bet they are all kicking themselves right now after the whole brake light leaking fiasco.

I am sure this is the correct train of thought.
After all, how many cars have LED DRL?
Can anyone think of a single stock LED DRL application from any brand vehicle that can be accessed as easily as the low beam bulb for maintenance? I know I can not. There may be 1 or more out there, but I do not know of any.

EDIT: It seems the general thought on LED's is that they will outlast any user/application.
