Thanks all for a great weekend. My assignment is so wack that the tire squalls on dry pavement and paint

    Another successful TW TSF meet!

I had an awesome time. It was great seeing all the familiar faces and OGs, and also meeting some new people.

Looking forward to the next one!

Enjoyed the weekend! Great meeting everyone and an outstanding place to wheel and camp.

Wouldn’t mind going back for another weekend to see more of TSF

And that 30 minutes hanging with you was some of the best of the weekend. Great to see you again!

The question that was asked, I believe, is why do you trailer your Yoda instead of just driving IT to TSF?

It was horrible, yet somehow we perservered through teamwork, camaraderie, and a really big fuckin’ fire.

    Translated:

“My ALIGNMENT is so whack that the tire SQUEALS on dry pavement and paint”

You’re supposed to stay BETWEEN the paint Mike.

If you have a dirt bike there’s lots of cool trails that are non-4x4 to explore.

TSF offers so much and now it’s so far away.

@jammdogg here’s that lapel mike for your Midland handheld. Turns out it also worked on our GMRS handhelds, which was super handy.

Sad we missed out! @Bennett707 ended up getting sick, so we thought it best if we just lay low all weekend. Hopefully next year will work out better!

I just created the TSF 2018 Picture and Video Thread so watch there for posts. I have stuff to do today before I can look through my pics but it'll happen at some point.

Squealing is kind of the wrong word. It's the deeper sound like when you are cornering really hard. Squall is probably not right but in my head the pronunciation sounds like the tire sound.

There were little bits of paint to hit when you cross over crosswalks and doing some lane changes, which is where I started hearing it... but that's not to say I was having a fun time keeping things from wandering.

Tonight I get to take off the LCAs so I can pound the alignment cam tabs back in place :( hopefully I get that good enough so I can go camping by end of the month and not snap them. Hold on, little cam tabs for one more alignment! You just need to hold until JulyJ TC upgrades are on order!

I went for a year with shitty alignment waiting until I had new tires and new TC alignment cams. Drove with the steering wheel turned about 30 degrees to one side the whole time. :anonymous:

This was the first trip with the TC LCA weld on tab gussets and my alignment is still as straight as before the trip. Def worth the money since my OEM tabs have been bent flat and 90* again so many times (and a few broken) haha. I was wondering how they'd hold up and it was as if I hadnt gonna wheeling; steering is the same still.
