Hey guys and gals figured i would join this forum and read up on the wealth of knowledge available here! I'm currently shopping around locally for Tacomas but can't find a good one any specific things i should look for when buying a second gen v6 4x4? The few I've looked have been rusty or poorly maintained, i hope too find one soon!

Welcome to TW...If you don’t mind taking a road trip, check out CarGurus or Autotrader. I was looking on E-Bay the other day just for the hell of it and located a 2003 Tacoma with 5900 actual miles. I located my last 2 trucks on CarGurus, lots of trucks and much info.

Well after searching for well over 6 months and checking out a dozen different trucks i finally found one i like, it's a 2014 Double cab sr5 4x4 auto with a 4.0 v6 with 63kmiles and clean title! It came out of Montana and the rust is almost non existent, it was in a wreck but they upgraded the bumper to a post apocalyptic front bumper (don't know the name). After driving for a week i love the truck all the options are awesome, afew issues i have so far is a minor light squeak from the rear when i go over bumps I'm assuming is from leaf spring bushings that need a good dose of lube, and another rattle that's coming from the drivers side lower by the skid plate fender area I haven't gotten a chance to thoroughly investigate due too work but i'm crawling under it this weekend too do some better inspections anyone got any advice or pointers for me?
