    I remember skating with and being awed by the shit Gibson was doing as a scrawny little red headed kid on this slick metal half pipe in Houston. Yeah I come from way way back before Dogtown days even cranked up. Emptying desserted pools were our skateparks, parking garages, cemented drainage areas, even skated barefoot a lot and no helmets and such, built plywood ramps in friends backyards......all that ancient shit. I think I still have a dogtown bigfoot board with independent trucks and gyros? wheels hiding around the house somewhere. I do not miss the cement rash or breaking any more bones (compound forearm fracture) Gravity is mucho addictivo..............

    Hey guys Im thinking about buying a complete. Ill mostly be just skating mini ramps. I never skated vert and at the age of 40 dont wanna try. I might do a lil street but my passion is small halfpipe skating. I found a deck thanks to @ODNAREM. Ill need the following wheels, bearings, trucks,grip tape. Ill prob. buy some new pads also.     For that size of wheel i’d suggest Bones,OJ’s,Spitfire and Powerflex.

    Can’t go wrong with Independent Trucks.

    Also some knowledge in the definition of wheels in case anyone isn’t sure or gets confused because it can happen.

    “MM”is the size/diameter.The higher the number the larger/bigger.

    “A”or “B” is the hardness/softness.The higher the number the harder.

    So assuming what your intentions are for skating you’re looking into getting a smalller wheel with a softer compound/material.
