    We got in yesterday afternoon. There's plenty of people here but it's not overly crowded. Really nice. Had the truck off on the beach last night. Interesting.

    I assume you have driven on the beaches here. I aired down but it still seems a bit of a struggle sometimes. I'm running Duratracs which I thought would be decent.

    what are you aired down too? If you’re on an E rated tire you need to be 20psi or there about deep lug tires are actually a hinderance in the sand,they’ll work but tend to dig before they float on top which is what you want.
    First time I went in the beach with my stock regular cab 22years ago had skinny highway tires aired down and it walked across the sand.
    You may need to experiment with air pressures
    At that I also use low range easier on the trans (clutch in my case)
    I’m pretty sure there will be varying experiences and ideas

    Last time I was out at freeman park the sand was really soft and the ruts were a good 6" or more deep. RPMs were higher but never had a problem sinking or got stock.
