Been a while since I've updated here, really isn't much new with the truck, but here's a fairly recent pic for the fun of it.

My mod money has been going towards home projects, including a used mower I picked up, and literally drove home from the dealer.

It also came with a pretty awesome keychain.

This birthday was good to me. Got a few new things for the truck, all the little stuff that I don't ever want to spend my own money on.
Got organizers for the glove box (didn't take a pic yet) and console.
    Before:

    After:

Set of pouches that slide between the seat and console, haven't decided what to keep there but it's handy spot to stick maps, papers, phones, snacks, drugs, the usual stuff.

Also going to do the secondary air injection filter mod:

Deflating will go a lot quicker now:

    Nice score!
I like my console organizer for sure. Handy as can be.

FYI, I have that same deflator. When you think you're at ~18psi, you're less than 15. Keep a better air gauge on yourself when airing down.
But, yes, does make it quicker.

Thanks for the heads up, I might have to play around with it later to get a feel for how to read it.

It's a great tool to have, just not 100% accurate, but an easy to swallow price vs it's high end version

I went back and forth on doing this mod, but someone got me the filter as a gift so I went for it. Replaced the foam filter for the secondary air pump with the UNI-107. I also really need to clean my engine bay, but that won't happen until after RRG this weekend.

I'm hoping the cover doesn't restrict the airflow too much, but it hasn't seemed to cause any issues. I can definitely hear it sucking air when I'm outside the truck.

That'd be correct, they added it starting in 2012, and I guess 2013 and later have the cover over it. It pulls air through it for the first 20-30 seconds after you start the truck to clear out some sort of fumes for emissions.

I have one on my 2.7. No larger cover on it, though. Still swapped with the UNI filter.

Sometimes, it gets pretty muddy. Recently took it off and ran water through it for a good 15 minutes and let it dry before putting back on. First time I did that since install around LBL '16

That's interesting it didn't have the cover, I wonder it's because of different engines, or trim packages then. Maybe TRD OR gets it and other don't or something.

    :notsure:

It's also possible that it did have the cover and I tossed it:rofl: and don't remember it.

Not a lot going on in my tacoma world, yesterday I touched up my sliders and my shackles. Early last week I gave the truck a good washing inside and out, then had it rain an hour later.

Removed a few stumps this morning. At this point I’ve done more landscaping than recovery with my winch. At least it makes the wife glad I have it.

Installed a new AFE Pro Dry S filter, it only made sense to get one that I clean out and re-use after I go off road. On another note my engine bay still needs a heavy duty cleaning.

I also did a little bit of mall crawling and exploring the other day, decided to take a couple shots flexing.
