    Forgot to post this yesterday.

Harbor fright is having a good sale on their floor jacks. Great tool to have for all lifted trucks. There’s normally go for $80 w/ coupon. Never seen them this cheap

@TOTAL CHAOS just posted a link to a video showing how to replace bushings/uniballs in their UCA’s and they used/recommended Super Lube. I hate trying new stuff that doesn’t work and wasting $ and time

    Yes
I had mine done at The Truck Shop and they did a great job. Jason didn’t want to do it, I assume it was because he does not have the capability to machine the heads. I would suggest changing your radiator, water pump and all the idler pulleys while everything is apart. It only took 3 days including the machine shop time.

50/50 on chickening out on using those threaded coil spring compressors. I know some people might be willing to gamble their life with those tools and I have a set myself to use but I'll be taking 800lb springs off my coilovers to swap in a lower spring rate (700). It's compressing the 800 is what terrifies me the most, haha.

Anyone know of a shop within 5 miles of Carmel Mountain Ranch that I can Uber to have them use their hydraulic press to swap the springs out?

I'll be tearing down my front suspension this week once my Total Chaos UCAs come in and would like to be able to get it all done in a day and the coil spring time/effort is the only unknown variable.

Off road warehouse will do it, but closest is probably Escondido.

The truck shop in Miramar should be able to do it for you

There’s ORW in Clairemont off balboa that should be able to do it.

That’s not Mira Mesa. That’s Clairemont. The truck shop is much closer to him though. They can do it quickly and relatively cheap.

I see that kind of fog frequently driving North on the 15 just below Gopher Canyon Road in the morning when the conditions are right. It's like literal wall of fog. Clear as anything and then, within 50 feet or so, you're in dense fog and all you see are glowing brake lights slowing down in front of you.

Good catch. Don’t know why I said Mira Mesa.

Going to try and get my 5100's on today and with my new tires, I'm itching for a drive. Anywhere somewhat nearby by thats tame enough to go out alone but might actually need some 4x4 actions?

Try Otay Mountain Truck Trail. Easy enough for solo trip but some off chutes that require 4x4. Just make sure to check out the off chutes before getting yourself in over your head.
