I have to visit my Prescott stores on Wednesday. I have a Fluke Tracer on my van. I can stop in on the way back if you want?

I still have to get with @OmegaMan73 and @05TacoRunner and @MaverickTRD to disburse a grill and diecast cars. I hate being so busy! This week should allow for some wiggle room though to get those things handled. I haven't forgotten about you guys.

How about a 17" wheel? Move to 285/75r17? Should also work with normal-ish offset/backspace?

    Or how about these?

I’ll be at work unfortunately. Thanks very much for the offer though I really do appreciate it.

Do you have any recommendations on what to look for on Amazon? I’d be willing to spend $100 or so on something that would be useful for diagnosing similar problems down the road.

As long as i stayed with a black wheel it might look fitting on a 1st gen and that size would be the same amount of side wall I have now.

Ive been thinking about 315s and a chaos kit... Then stepping to 5.29s from my 4.56s when someone has a set of diffs for sale.

Just make sure with a meter that there is no power or you'll let out the magic smoke.

@4Running Daily when you ran 315s and 16s what back spacing did you use? Spacers or nah?

Its simple. 16x8 with 285/75/16s. 4.5" backspacing. When i ran 15s with 33s i ran a wheel spacer to clear the caliper and that netted me the equivelant to 3" back spacing and it cleared well after cleaning up my pinch weld. I'm not worried about rubbing anywhere other than the uca because I can clearance the wheel wells. if i run these wheels with a 35 I'm pretty confident it'll touch the uca especially when aired down making the tire wider. With these current 16x8s i also rub my rear inside wells on the bed when fully flexed. Just barely but i can see the rub marks.

Edit:: with aftermarket ucas i may gain some clearance because it doesnt hang out much passed the uniball vs the lip the stock ucas have.

    Less length, more girth
LT to make it a baby bro truck?

    Or just uniball uppers
I guess that’ll work too. Then I’ll have no wheeling buddies though. Everyone will be fabbing
