I'm jealous of your tractor. I came -> THIS CLOSE <- to buying a McCormick Farmall (classic faded red, think "Green Acres") years ago in good working condition with mowing deck, shovel, and snow plow. Buddy of mine was closing his lumber yard and said I could have it for $500. Alas, my practical side took over and I passed on it. I didn't have a real NEED for a tractor on my 1/3 acre lot and I had no where to put it, anyway.

...but man, mowing the lawn and clearing the snow from the driveway would have been SOOOO much more fun!

Finally got around to having some tires mounted on the SCS SR8's I have had in my garage for 6 months... Pretty happy with how they look, but have a little bit of rub under compression on 1 side. 265/70/17 Duratrac's.

Lot looks pretty familiar. Is that Pleasanton ridge? I ride there often.

Welp, that's enough modding for today. I'm going home and back to bed.

Finally mounted my Undercover SwingCases, that have been sitting around for weeks, during my lunch break. Installing the hinges and catches was a cinch. Went to put the cases on the hinges and discovered that the cases are too short for where the brackets are supposed to go. The rod thats supposed to hit the catch is about an inch shy. Looks like I might have ordered the wrong cases even though I thought I made triply sure I was ordering for Gen3. ...AND... I just noticed one of the lids is cracked. Didn't occur to me to check for damage when I received them, the cardboard boxes were in perfect condition. Guess I need to start making some phone calls to see what can be done.

    Sheesh...

    Edit: Nevermind...

Reads instructions: "Use right hand set of holes in latch bracket."

    Flips instructions over.

"Use left hand set of holes in latch bracket."

We're good now. Well, except for the cracked lid. Still need to make some calls.

When i first took off a lug and noticed how much of the thread stuck out past the tire , I had a moment of hesitation. Them I noticed the gap around the bolt and that the lug actually acted as a spacer to center the wheel in the bolts. The lugs also start biting the thread behind the wheel and not where the washer on the lug is, if that makes sense.

Thanks again @RobP62 for the help. I wouldn't have known the proper terms to search for and might have bought a cheaper version that would have chipped at the first tire change.

Yes it is PR. I normally go super early in the morning on week days so I can enjoy the not so legal way down (if y'know what I mean). I normally park outside the main lot since there is a camera on the gate that faces inwards. I don't want to get a poaching ticket in the mail.

The hub caps come off way too easy. Use your hand in the shape of a claw. Grab and pull.

As for the Toyota decal, i used a Dremel and grinded off the locking tabs the pushed them out with a screwdriver. I tried to not mar the hub cap material.

The way the logo locks in, I'd think you'd have to break something to remove them the fit is so tight.

EDIT: Dremel from the back side just what is chrome
