I put the hood on, I just couldn't wait for the paint. I also cut up the old hood to make a scoop for the new hood.20180611_093406.jpg 20180610_114755.jpg

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
On the oem wheels that I used, the center cap and logo is all one plastic piece and there's no way you're pulling it off with your fingers. There's a spring-steel ring that pushes out on a series of fingers around the outside diameter. Once you push that center cap into the wheel, it not going anywhere. I really think that center cap needs to be driven out from behind with a mallet and block.

The powdercoater I took the wheels (with caps in) to managed to remove all 4 without breaking anything.

edit: Just went out there to take a photo. Hadn't noticed before that there's a slot where one could possibly use a right-angle pry tool to pry them off.

Nice looking Taco! Especially with that backdrop. Did you need spacers with the wheel and tire set up? I still have my set of the same wheels but swapped them out for wheels with a 4.5” backspace to avoid contact with the UCA(s).

Thanks! The sand dunes always provide a great background in the evenings!
I’m running 265/75/16’s and never had any issues with rubbing. I put spacers on to gain some of my track width back after the lift.

Okay thanks. That’s why I with the 4.5” backspace. Afraid of vibration at highway speed with spacers.

I’ve had no issues at all with any vibrations at highway speeds. Truck feels very solid and planted.

Thanks Brother! I think they are awesome as well!

I got it from this guy I found on facebook. He said he was retired but he still did mine, give him a shout and see if you can talk him into making another.

Thought I recognized your rig on Craigslist the other day. Guess you ended up selling them or finding someone to trade your 4runner wheel/tire combo?

I popped the hood, and got a stiffy. None of this was noted as being there upon purchase, my dealer had to source it from another dealer so I guess the original dealer installed it all. I love free sh!t. Pictured are the TRD intake & radiator cap. Not pictured is the TRD oil cap.
