We could organize our own, much smaller event. That thing looks like a circus.

I wouldn't care if its a cluster fuck if someone else was cooking me dinner @ $50 a plate ,lol. Those events are crazy but they provide a lot of stuff you don't get in a private group.
Lets do it. im almost ready. just need some 3/16"aluminum sheet to finish the bumper. should be done by end of week.
Bummed i missed this weekends trip.:anonymous: But im just not ready.

Went from 3rd Gen Taco to 3GT4R to 2nd Gen Taco and finally a V8 4GT4R.
Anyone recommend some cool stuff to check out with my GF out in Santa Cruz? Headed there tomorrow. Interested in nature, breweries, walking around and bullshitting. Not too interested in boardwalk activities unless its a last resort.

Walk the cliffs. West side or east side. Both have paved paths and plenty of people watching. St adarius brewery. Go hike in wilder ranch or Nisene. If you like sushi, hit up happy hour at Akira on Soquel.

How was your trip? Thinking I might end up camping somewhere in that area this weekend. Is it usually packed at the Bowman area?

Speaking of Rubicon, I'm thinking about tagging along with my B.I.L. and nephews in their jeeps. I've never been thru the Rubicon in anything before. My truck is W I D E with 33's, sliders, 4x4 and elocker. Will I have any issues? They are very experienced jeepers. It's something on my bucket list so I wanted to try.

Not enough to have a build thread.
Your sliders and skids will get put to work. You may get some rock rash on your rims. I've only ridden in the passenger seat through it. I've heard Cadillac hill is known for breaking halfshafts so I'd definitely take a spare. Or go in from the Tahoe side and turn around at Cadillac. But you should have lots of fun.

I watched a stock Jeep jk go through two weeks ago and he was struggling like hell. He had a spotter for every inch of the trail and they said it took so long they were a day behind. If you have some spare parts, skids and sliders you’ll be okay.
