Quicksand is one of those colors that sometimes I think looks fantastic then other times is meh. Does that make any sense at all? It doesn't make sense to me but it is what it is lol.

Wacky?, Water? I know the real answer; black and white are not colors because they do not have specific wavelengths. I was just having fun pointing out the most awesome color available on today's Tacos. Quicksand:taco::oldglory:

Is it bad that I don't bother washing it after it gets muddy or dusty? I think QS just looks natural with dirt!

I thought Black was all the colors combined and white was the absence of all color.... I know when you add a lot of colors together, eventually you will get black. Think this is wrong.

    All the things!
The color you see when looking at an object is actually the wavelength (color) of light that is reflected and not absorbed by the object. When light hits and object that is "white" all wavelengths are reflected and none are absorbed (hence, you see white). When light hits a black object, that object will absorb all of the wavelengths and you will see no color.

That's why when something is truely 100% black, it looks like nothing is there, like a bad photoshop. See below for an example.

I like them all. I wish I had one of each and throw in an Inferno just for good measure.

Ok so I am deciding between a white and calvary blue TRD Pro or a TRD off-road with tech / premium in Cement. I told them that I will not pay their 5k market adjustment for the Pro’s so we will see what they do. If they don’t budge I go cement.

I'm guessing you're in CA. Buy the TRD Pro out of state and make a road trip out of it.

I would do the Cement TRD Off-Road with Premium and Tech packages, and keep my extra five grand for mods

But it’s an Off-road! Cement is my second choice but after owning my Taco for 15 months I still find myself looking at my truck and saying “damn I’m glad I picked quicksand “.

Cement looks goods in some light conditions i find (bright sunlight), but at night or overcast conditions, i find it looks blah, i do not like it as much, but it does have a big following.

I finally pulled the trigger on a Cement truck, I was on the fence with MGM. I think the second best color choice would have to be Silver Sky if the price was right.

Get Quicksand or White because I like almost never seeing Cement in the wild;)

(I have Cement and love it)
