Just put wheels in my truck. Method MR305 with 0 offset. Not looking like 285’s would clear. Currently have 265/75/16 at3w.

Do you have a 2 inch lift? also we're talking about Ray 10's not Methods. The offset for the Rays are -10mm so that make a difference also.

Yes, 2 inch lift. I think they might clear on the street, but doesn’t look like they would clear when stuffed.

All that around the lip & lugs is the finish coming off? So what, these wheels are paint instead of powdercoat?

I could be wrong but when I played in the sand it stuck in the same area as the pic above. Didn’t scratch the finish at all, water hose cleaned it up.

Yeah that happens to me too in the sand but he said he scratched them up good. I don't see other major noticeable scratches so I'm assuming that's what he's referring too. If yes, then those aren't scratches in my book, looks like it got sand blasted. Haha

And if that's the case that's pretty disappointing if the finish comes off that easily & is why I asked if paint not powdercoat. I've never had that happen to me on any aftermarket wheel i've had. I hope that's not the case cause I was looking to get me a set of these but not if the finish wears off that easily

If you look at the outer black ring, the original finish is intact. I suspect the inside has been refinished.

I don’t think he scratched those areas, atleast not how it is in the picture. Maybe he got a few around the whole wheel but I don’t see how you would scratch just those spots and not the whole wheel at that point lol.

Most cast wheels are going to be painted for the most part. Off the top of my head, I'm not aware of any wheels in the $150-250 range that are power coated. If you've been on a few trails, you'll know that not all sand/mud/dirt are created equal. There are some areas where the mud is basically like hard clay. There are mud pits where there could be tiny pieces of rocks/sand that will act as sand paper like you mentioned. If you spin fast enough, it will damage the finish on any wheel. This is just the nature of off-roading, you just never know what you're going to run into.

Ah I see thanks for clearing that up, could barely see those scratches in the first pic. I was about to say, if all that wasn't sand, how the heck could that happen!

Anyone paint their brake calipers that has bronze Ray-10s? Curious to see how it looks.

Thinking of painting them blue to match(-ish) my soon to be installed Kings, but don't want to be hella clashy on the paint scheme.
