Road exit 27 and 38 today, trails are so good right now. Upper exit 38 is clear and moist loam like you dream about.

The LBS is running maintenance on it before they hand it over to me. New tires. Also black pedals. I hope i made the right choice going with a demo bike. I still retain the factor warranty.

All of the LBS demo bikes I’ve seen are well maintained by the bike shop. They want you to demo the bike, love it, and bring it back to order your own.

Bike park demo bikes not so much... you’ve already traveled there and want to rent a bike for the day, if it’s bad, you’re not going to leave you know?

Bike looks solid, and they are going through it for you to make sure it’s top notch. Don’t sweat it, enjoy your new beast

Thank you! I definitely was concerned but I have to remember I'm getting a great deal. Cheaper than a new one at the lowest spec and this one is fully tricked out.

Exactly. And if you do break anything or want to upgrade, you might be able to get the shop to help out. You have a solid foundation to build off of.

I wanted to buy a used demo bike at my LBS but all of their bikes are pretty much just one or two brands. Tons of options on the floor, but not much for demo.

I believe the outback and cross tech are virtually the same thing. No?

The crosstrek and the outback are a lot different. They look similar like most Subaru’s,they drive way different. The crosstrek is tiny in there backseats and the cargo area is also smaller.

Yes, the Outback is like a small SUV (crossover) and the Forester is bigger. The Impreza is a smaller sedan or a wagon. The CrossTrek is a lifted Impreza, so take the wagon sedan and boost it up to super small SUV status. A coworker has one, and my next door neighbor. Both love their CrossTreks. But for me... I’ll take my body on frame all day everyday

Yeah I knew the cross tech was one of those lifted....well they, cross tech and outback are both cool as hell. On a side note, I also saw an older forester that was lifted too the other day zipping around that looked bad ass. It was like an 02 maybe. Definitely older....

Just use the velcro straps on the pad for freeway. If I travel far sometimes Ill run a tie down over the pedals to hold the year tire from bouncing any but I rarely do. As far as pizza stops someone stays with the bikes or I park where I can see it. Otherwise I don't leave it, I have a Thule T2 rack as well but never leave the bike alone like that either. I don't trust my bike with any lock.. about 7k deep into it so it doesn't leave my sight. I think that should be a strong rule of thumb regarding any medium to high end bike. They get stolen often.

I love the truck also! No doubt frame on body is better for many things!10xx838_7a62201c4c69ce29b59f2cf365e36a4cf8dd8415.jpg
