BTW, What are the perks of being retired from the armed forces? I am willing to enlist into the US Navy. Me and my dad are looking into buying my first firearm, What handgun do you recommend for a 5'5, 109 lbs, skinny ass alien.

Glock 22 40cal perfect firearm for a starter pistol. You do you full 20 you get base access to commissary and PX(mall), medical dental vision. Retired in 20 years so you can still work after. I only did 4.5 years but used my GI bill to get all they way to med school and I’m taking a break do to having a 11 month old. I am how ever DOD retired which are basically the same benefits and I am only 31.

 

Also the Navy or the Air Force is they way to go for your full 20. You can do college while in there and use your gi bill to give to your kid if you have one.
