I used to loath wiring but I've been doing so much of it lately that I've kinda started to like it. Here's my latest switchpro install I did for a buddy. Almost therapeutic but damn time consuming

I actually would like to. Haven't burned metal in a long time but would love to get back into it once I get the new garage all set up

From a fellow switchpro nerd, damn that looks nice!

So if you don't mind me asking, what did you do for the grounding points?

I started my install without any specific accessories to wire up aside from the ditch lights so I was prioritizing being super modular as opposed to pretty. Hence the common ground bus and connector array.
My only gripe is Switch-Pros technically tells you not to mount horizontally to avoid water intrusion but I did it anyways. :notsure:
(But then they say that their system could be entirely submerged... but, wouldn't that lead to water intrusion if the harness is not waterproof???)

Also the vacuum booster makes everything a pain in the butt as far as getting thru the firewall.

Honestly, I find it more therapudic than wiring... shitty side is I need to run a new outlet to the garage to handle the welder. I pop the breaker when I’ve been burning for a while

Excellent way to burn your house down. I have the stuff set aside to do a 30A and now I decided I want to add a subpanel to add expandability. My welder needs love, but then again, I am debating getting a Welding Certification at Gateway and up my GTAW skills.

Well no shit BlueBawlz. That’s why I said I need to run a new line, but it’s hot outside. And Canadians aren’t made for this hellish heat lol and my insurance company would appreciate it. I’m done welding till end of summer... too damn hot. If you’re not going to use welding for trade, then kinda only doing it for the hell of it in my opinion. Practice and good equipment is what improves the skill.
Good thinking boss. You close on the new house yet?

I used a common ground next to the battery, which you have to remove to gain access but makes for a clean install. So every harness I make gets run first before i techfkex to determine its split point to keep everythj g tidy.. as for the firewall, I have a specialized tool designed for running wires through factory grommets. Easy as can be and takes seconds. Only thing is, have to de pin the control panel plug which isnt too difficult to do and end result is a factory clean look
