Its the padding by the firewall that looks like a hundred different types of cloth threads all mixed together

 

Yeah they did authorize replacing jute but would not replace this portion

 

Why do they keep half a**ing every little thing.

 

I would raise hell and say it will be their ass when it gets moldy.

 

Save everything paperwork wise ,and then sue HUGE when you get sick from mold.

 

OP, when this all gets sorted, I hope you enjoy your new F-150. Toyota is just tripping all over themselves in this situation.

 

They should be tripping with their POOR quality control and horrible Dealers,

I bought my last tacoma a 2010 dblcab 4x4 from toyota cleveland . It's a shame they have changed management

 

It happens to be that there were 2 new tacoma trucks brought into that very body shop . One was the deep red and I forget the other color. They were damaged offloading from the car hauler. I think both needed roof skins replaced . I'll bet money they were sold as still new after repair and the owners never knew about the damages.

 

Have a hearing date with NCDS July 17th.

That is another long wait. Keep it all fresh, write it all down, and present everything that you have.

 

Get your phone bill, and you can maybe get some of those dates are refresh your memory and write down every detail you can

 

just make sure you speak to “facts”....be sure of dates, times and people you communicated.....and what they told you.....or wrote down.....facts will destroy the complacent dealers if they are represented by anyone other than an attorney....remember, be nice and interrupt very pleasantly when they are lying, but have a fact to back up why you interjected.....good luck

Thanks to all of the replies I have pages of documented phone calls with time and date . Also the marker trick came from a suggestion on this thread and I hope that is what catches their tail in the rocking chair . Tom trout service manager at toyota cleveland knows he had approval to replace the jute lining throughout the truck. They tried to raw hide getting the truck back together and just figured no one would notice that it wasn't replaced .
Wish it was over but oh well I'm driving a crappy van

 

Truck is still at dealership. Anyone think I should go get it or just leave it till the hearing ?
Kinda think it's better to not sign the papers with wrong dates. Like one of them states it was ready the 31st when the dealership was closed and it's still not finished like they promised by changing all jute and carpet. So singing them may screw me , idk.
