Thanks, guys. I'm so close to being done, then up for sale it goes.

If you want some sticker shock, take a quick stroll around the west coast Craigslist adds and see what these things are selling for. Crazy $.

Actually I wanted one for the type of fishing I do. I looked at the prices and said "nope". I found out later that you could buy kits to build the things. Even those were stupid expensive.

Going down the rabbit hole of the internet, I discovered that these boats are usually built out of wood. I reached out to a person that sells plans for the boat you see, but only as a wood boat. I emailed the owner of the plans and asked him if anyone had aver used his plans to build a welded, aluminum boat? He told me no one had, but could see no reason the plans wouldn't work. The start of these boats is not finish carpentry. If you within an 1/8", you are good.

I took the plunge and bought the plans. So far the project has been more or less straightforward. I've had so much fun doing this build, I want to do it again. That's the only reason I'm putting it up for sale.

The owner of the plans I used has been watching my build as well. He asked me if he could use my pics for his website. He said he would refund my money if I said yes. Of course I agreed, but told him the refund was unnecessary.

I did. He sent measurements, but I haven't measured my bed yet. I might bite on this one, I dunno.

I have a spare set of Icon UCA's a friend of mine just emailed me on, he wants to buy them...

I found this on CL last night. I don't know if there's any difference b/t SB/LB, or what bed he has. If it'll work in a LB, I may bite on this and put it aside for the Taco bed trailer build. I honestly don't know what use it would serve, just figured I might find a use........and it is a good price

We get written up if we have our phones out, so I NEED my PC

I just had a woman call back that was in a room and tell me her grandbaby threw her money away in a bag and she wanted me to go through the trash and find it(it was a plastic bag with a M&M wrapper with a paper bag that had the money in it). I told her "Ma'am, I will pull the small bag and you can go through it when you come back. I'm not going through trash."..........people will eventually learn to not be an asshole.

The bag was right on top and would have been easy to grab had she asked nicely.

And I wouldn't have minded one bit had she started off being nice. You would think people would at least act nice if they were going to ask for something.
