I've always loved the look of TR500s. Such a sled!

I bought a 2018 Giant Talon 3. Super happy with the purchase. Ended up destroying the rear derailleur and chain second day on the trail. Stick hit the bottom of the derailleur and threw it into the wheel. Completely destroyed it. Luckily I was almost to the end of the trail so it wasn’t a bad carry. Took it out today and I am still adjusting new derailleur. None the less, it’s a blast!

@Coot83 I second Hubsessed (I'm wearing their shirt right now...:D)

Dusty (the owner) is a damn wizard at building wheels, and is a hell of a rider as well. I spent all this weekend with him, so I'll vouch for him. Gonna call him up myself to build me a set once I get my truck suspension squared away.

Tangent: He ended up saving my friend's race at Tears, Fears, and Beers this weekend by replacing a broken spoke in 10 minutes in the parking lot before we all started. Talk about personal service!

That Diamondback wouldn't be a Haanjo would it? I'm moving close enough to my new-ish job that I can ride to work now. We get a hefty corporate discount on DB bikes so its tempting.

Where in UT are you? I swear I've seen you and your dog before. Aussies with tails are pretty rare.

I'm moving to the Cottonwood Heights area from Orem next month, but I'm all over the place on the weekends same as you. If you see a black and purple bronson riding around, come say hi!

I don't Every wheelset is different and custom is custom so its hard to ballpark... I'm sure if you gave them a call, they could build a set for you in whatever budget you wanted. I know they make wheels that are simple aluminum builds all the way to i9 hubs, rainbow spokes, and carbon hoops. Really just comes down to how ridiculous you want to get.

"cheaper" Hope hubs and WTB scrapers

"Money" Onyx hubs and NOBL carbon hoops
