The point was when it breaks in the middle of the night, a long way from home, on a muddy trail, in the rain, etc.

yep, regear will happen. hopefully this year but we shall see.

 

How far are you willing to go to clear these?

 

remove the bedsides and fenders, and cut some air vents for my feet if necessary.

 

We can remold the footwells if needed. A lot of cutting will be required for sure.

nah they look dumb to me. i'd rather just have mine cut up pretty far. I took 4" out of my old yota's fenders.

Word! Knowing who you're working with to get this done at least itll be done right. I have a feeling you're going to have quite a bit of welding to be done after the cutting to fill in some gaps lol. Especially backside of front fenders!
