One of my favorite tools has been one of these little air powered hack-saws. Small and nimble. Fits in a lot more places a regular saw-z-all and cut off wheel will

I'm rolling with a Tepui Kukenam 3 with the stock mattress AND a 3" memory foam topper. What a pain in the ass to close. Anyone else have to sit on top of their RTT to zip it closed? Considering taking the 2" stock mattress out and throwing a couple of thermarest self-inflating pads under the topper.

I don't have a RTT, I just have a platform in the back of the truck. But that is what I have, a 4" memory foam pad with self-inflating pads under it. I could sleep on rocks and be fine, but my wife is picky and she sleeps pretty good on it.

Folding the sides in as you close the tent goes a longway. Also I noticed that I needed to choose, leaving in the topper or the blankets/pillows. For me it was either or.... I couldn't fit both. If you wanna stop by I can show you a few tips/tricks to getting it closed (fairly) quickly

I’m almost back! Headed to Oregon after work to check out that 1st gen. Hope all goes well. Looks like I’ll be using a truck and trailer to pick it up, everyone I know is working OT or sick to today to provide a ride. Fingers crossed anyway, a whole year without a taco is nearly too much to bear! Lol

I finally got the GX dialed back in for the season. Can anyone recommend an easy-ish cruise up through the mountains with good scenery? I'm pretty sure most of my go-tos like stampede are going to be snowed in.

You can put 285's on without CMC. I did and the only rub I experienced was on the passenger side at full compression and wheels locked to left turning angle. Slight rub on the remote reservoir. They're 285/75/16's on the TRD wheels. I have a feeling that if I picked wheels with less offset, then I wouldn't experience any rub.

I did mine just after it levels out behind the axle and retaining the mount.
Really, as long as it goes past the axle and away from the bed you should be fine. How long beyond that is up to you.
