I switched from Foxes to Kings and my penis doubled in size. But my bank account got cut in half.

Well I can finally upgrade from the half-assery that I have been for over two years with that tc kit. Wow man just driving home it really felt great. I can’t wait to see what this dmz kit can do in dirt!

Shop wanted to have some fun before I left. Bumps were right on.

Bumps are way too low. Should be set to full bump when the axle is straight, not flexed. Looks like you could get another 3" or so of uptravel before the axle hits the frame.

What do you mean bumps were right on? Did they not cycle the kit?

Looks like they mounted the lower shock mount pretty far outboard too and set bumps at articulation when the tire rubbed the shock. I have the same bed cage and have the shock mounted over the leafs for more tire clearance. Rubs the cage at articulation, not the shock, and bumps about and inch before the axle would hit the frame.

I'll try to get flexy somewhere on my way home and get some pics to reference

@Coot83 have your bumps/ limit straps checked. Make sure they didn't set them at articulation which is what it looks like. Here's some pics of mine with the same setup and even I could probably move my bumps up another inch or so.

Got as crossed up and flexy as I could. Driver rear in the air about an inch and passenger stuffed up against the bed cage. IMG_2500.jpgIMG_2501.jpg

Limit strap not even close to being tight on the droop side.
    IMG_2506.jpg

Bump stop barely touching the strike pad at full stuff. Shock shaft has only a little bit more stroke left than the bump stop does and the shock is over the leafs giving it clearance and the tire rubs on the rear leg of the bed cage limiting up travel under articulation. IMG_2507.jpgIMG_2509.jpg

When the axle moves up and down straight, bumps will fully compress about an inch or so before the axle touches the frame. And that's me being safe with it. I could probably cut it closer, but still won't gain any flex from it since the bed cage limits that unfortunately. But most long travel isn't designed for both high speed and rock crawling.

Appreciate the photo of what you mean. I agree I think mine might be about two inches low. I think my current uptravel config is at 5.5 to 6 Max. I think the reason why they did that though is they were worried about rubbing on the bypass at full articulation. They cycled this thing about ten times testing as they progressed through the install. I assume you are pulling about 7-8 uptravel?

Based off your pic my shock tabs are in the same location.

My shock shaft is directly over the outside edge of the leafs and at ride height I have 9.5" of shaft showing. Granted I have an add a leaf and no rtt on the back of the standard pack. Not sure if you went with the hd pack
