    i was thinking portable too since i can move it from car to car....i am using powerpole connectors from my fuse panel i have attached to my house battery.

    they dont produce much heat compared to cig adapters, can handle more current

    what fittings did you use to attach the tubing to the couplers from the pump?

    I like that idea about the wiring. I used to have a work truck where the jumper cables hooked similar to that.

    The pump itself had barbs on it I believe, so I just put the tube on there with hose clamps. I have male barbed fittings that screw into the quick connects. Everything is air hose fittings. Hope that answered your question if not let me know.

    probably wont be much different, might ad a filter for when water is needed to be cleaned and stored in a friends fresh water tank on his trailer
