Had way too many wins today to let this ruin my day but this just happened! The kid said he fell asleep at the wheel. Had my mom with me, we are safe but my baby (my brand new taco) got damaged.

Just take to the body shop and get it fixed? Can I make requests? Hopefully there was no damage under body.

Holy smokes. That thing is crooked. It may be an optical illusion, but it appears to have frame damage. Both vehicles don't look that bad, so I'm thinking it's just an illusion. Glad everyone is ok.

I did my vent rings awhile back. .Inferno, but black would be the same. Easy project. Just remove vents and trim, break small tabs on the back side of the rings, paint, reinstall and add hot glue to the back. So far no issues. If hot glue fails, I'll epoxy.

    Glad you are each okay.

Hoping you get your truck back to pristine shape.

Drowsy drivers are a huge threat. Maybe he will learn from this.

Glad everyone is ok. Gasshole looks a little puckered. I would suggest a reputable Toyota dealer for repairs since not on your insurance. They may have parts on hand. If not they will get them faster than another body shop plus you know you will get all oem Toyota brand parts. Looks more like a side swipe than a rear collision so probably just cosmetic repairs. Just insist they don't load it up with body filler. I would rather get all new sheet metal. May want to remove the gasshole so it doesn't accidentally get tossed at the shop.
PS for what they charge for taillights you should spend $180 for DEPO brand Pro taillights instead. See if insurance will pay you separately for the taillights.

Their insurance has to pay, so don't take it to a body shop for actual repairs until you get the green light from their insurance company. They may require a few quotes to make sure that your selected place is within line and not over charging. If their insurance says that you are partially responsible for anything, remind them that it can take up to two weeks for an accident victim to feel the effects of soft tissue damage.

Actually I didn't even pay much attention since I was concern whether or not it would stay on with full suction since the platform I had it on wasn't really that smooth. In fact I left it on there for 6 hrs. I'm happy to report that after 6 hrs it was a bitch to release the suction therefore I'm confident this thing won't fall off regardless of road conditions or speed. Thanks for the heads-up though maybe I should have read the owners manual....Not!

I’m sure you could do it if you had access to a space where you could be crafty
