Main priority was getting the new projector lens centered in the light shroud. (give or take a little because it still has to move up/down for leveling adjustments)
Then I realized that the high beam hole in the OEMASSIVE is not centered with the projector bulb. That's fine, nothing I can change because that's where the projector had to sit. They will be covered by rubber boots anyway.
Currently in talk with their insurance company on buy back price for the vehicle. But I've been busy enough with other things.

hey @mesojdm , where do you source your LEDs you used for the dragon eyes/side markers? Trying to find something similar on superbrightleds without a ton of luck

My best guess was that he was using the same Zflex as what goes in the DRL bar since it can be cut down to sections of 3. If that is the case then he’s in the $500 range in just LEDs alone which is the reason that I haven’t pressed the “submit order now” button from Radiantz on my shopping cart for over 1 month now. Lol
Big baller status and I can’t afford to play right now.

Thanks for the info guys. Good hell that is some money to spend on LEDs! No wonder they look so fresh. If only I were a mod wizard and could fund my hobby with the wallets of a thousand thirsty tacomaworlders...

It is a pretty penny. I am about to copy him on the drl's/signals (even though pricey), but my fear is can I assemble and re-seal the housings with no issues later

All the LEDS in this build are exclusively Zflex By Radiantz. I understand they are not the cheapest.. but I have done alot of testing of various LED strips and nothing beats these as far as performance AND user customization. They can be cut every 5 LEDs (~.6”) so the possibilities are endless for installation.
For the average customer they would think I’m loony to spend that much on just the accent lighting, but I’m the the average person :D. Like I said, This was an all out build. Performance first, Aesthetics second, budget last.

If you just use some retrorubber from TRS you'll be worry free, I've used them on a couple housings now without a bit of condensation. You might already know exactly what I'm talking about, but just in case you don't here's the linky

I don't think anyone on this forum would expect anything less from you by this point Meso! Thanks for the info and tasty mods

Yup, that's the stuff I was going to use to seal them back up.

Works like a charm, you might want to consider a breather and some cable glands as well for all those accent wires that will be coming out of the housing. I use them on my headlights now and they make it so clean and waterproof. I promise I'm not a TRS rep lol...

If I'm taking them apart then a few holes with these installed won't hurt ha ha

There are already like 4 breather holes on the light. I don’t think adding more would be beneficial...Just my opinion. As for adding cable glands for new wiring, I’d pass on drilling holes in the bucket. There is already a grommet where the DRL wires pass through and it has about 5 more available holes to route more wires. Try and keep everything as OEM as possible to minimize issues.
LOL.. who am I kidding, leave everything as stock as possible

Do you think, honestly, someone with semi mechanical/wiring skills can take apart these housings and install the Z-Flex White Amber LED's like you did, then put it back together? I am confident with most the work, but the learning curve is defiantly going to be mounting the led's into the allocated drl location. Have you used these led's in other housings as drl's by chance? If so, are they nearly as bright as some factory drl's during the day? Lastly you mentioned you did 1.5 feet per side so you had to purchase 3 1 footers, correct?

I'm thinking more and more about picking up a set of these and giving it a shot of my own... I like that it's much easier to separate the adhesive and I also like that it seems pretty easy to customize despite the stock internals being a bit garbo.

Out of curiosity though, are there any projectors out there that are Halogen based (even OEM parts) that would work inside such a setup?

I'd like to stick with OEM bulbs and be plug-and-play in that regard... which also seems like it would be easier on the wallet too.

I'd also have to figure out some way to hack it to play nice with my SR, which I'm thinking shouldn't be too hard aside from finding a connector that would mate with the stock harness.

If you search on here, there is a guy who was able to make these work with his SR
