This statement is exactly what most people think but what your failing to realize is that your Kings are still not an equivalent shock. Maybe you get some extra suspension numbers, sure, but the Pros come with internal bypasses. You’d have to do some heafty work to have a superior setup and your Kings will likely not be as smooth as a Pro due to the bypass ability in the ride zone.

Again, I’m not saying I would do it, I like to tinker with my truck but the Pro has a lot more to offer than people on this forum give it credit for.

I may have opened a can of worms on this one, sorry for that. Honestly not trying to talk shit or act like I know everything. But I still stand by my opinion.

Nah man, never apologize! I respect your opinion. :hattip:

If you would have asked me two months ago I would have agreed with you 100% but I’ve been trying to learn about suspension setups a lot more lately and my understanding has changed.

Talk all the shit, most Pro owners don’t even know what they have and overpay for their truck by thousands.

In all honesty I bet you can buy the the same TRD pro suspension and get it installed for cheaper than the mark up on the Pro's

Now that’s something we can agree on...

But you wouldn’t get your Pro grille and wheels! :goingcrazy:

Again probably add that too, for still less than the mark up. Btw I though kings were doing internal bypasses

I flew to AZ. Got mine for 2k more than a OT. My buddy has a 2017 OR and isn't even close to being able to keep up offroad. I love it, amazing performance for a stock truck.

They do, and so does Fox but I’m not 100% sure if they are offered in an OE application. Essentially they make them, but they are a generic design and would not fit on a Taco. Price is another thing. Let’s say your standard Kings run $1600/pair. A IBP shock would well succeed that in pricing. That’s just for the front. Then add the rear.

Market is a thing. There are enough idiots out there in SD willing to pay 6k more for a truck because it was what the salesman told them to get.

I got a trd pro badge on my truck. That’s good for like 5” more suspension.

Most dealerships in so cal had $5-10k markups on the 2017's. And they added on overpriced accessories that I would have taken off. Got a clean Pro, no BS. Free flight on points. $30 uber from the airport. Quick and easy transaction. And a tank of gas to pay 43k and change. The OR I was going to get locally was 41k and change.

Only the difference in taxes. 7.5% versus 7.75%. Ended up being very little.

Got a couple good ones for @sdsurfer

"Yo man I'm lookin' for sum DUB Baller riiims. How much are they?"

That will depend on the size and color. What size and what finish would you like?

"I want some 26" rims and whatever's the cheapest color"

For 26", the least expensive color will be black. These are $550 per wheel.

"Ohh uhhh you all got any sales goin' on?"

Sure do! Did you have a price in mind for these?

"Well I'm in Florida and there's a local guy here who will sell me a set for a thousand bucks."

You should have bought those yesterday man. I won't be able to get anywhere near there. I can get you a brand new set, but we're looking closer to $1900 for the wheels alone. That guys set could have been found after they fell or a truck or who knows.

    Another guy -
"I have a 2005 Chev Avalanche and I want fender flares. But I don't want none of those that take bolts. I want to use tape and stickem' on."

Just to make sure we're clear, are you talking about the larger fender flares, or the smaller chrome fender trim?

"I don't want no chrome, I want them to be black."

Ok, so we're looking at the fender flares then correct?

    "Yeah"

Looks like all the options we carry will require them to be bolted or screwed into the underside of the fender. I don't have any options that tape or stick to the fender.

"Well can I buy those and just stick em' on anyways?"

Maybe. They weren't made for that so I can't tell you yes, but anythings possible.

    :bananadead:

There have been others today, but I forgot to write them down.
