You should be fine with expo's I had about 800-900 pounds of horse feed and concrete in the bed and it still held up with at least 2"-2.5" of lift. When you are unloaded there closer to 4" of lift. And the 500 pound limit is for 3" lift so your going to be fine.

Was just looking at Deaver J59s and what it would take if you were to put them on a 95-97.

Eh, can't imagine it is worse than shorty leafs. But yeah for ride quality I'd want a longer pack with many softer leafs.

Deaver does custom stuff, so I'd ask em to shorten it a tad for yah unless they're used, then I guess it is an afternoon project haha.

hahahaha. Well, the good news is that no matter what, the Internet is right again. Because it says both answers.

Weird how the internet is always right.

those are a nice leaf pack. Like I said, 2'' front hanger, 1'' for the shackle.

The chevys always end up flat because they are too heavy of a spring so you pull them out to make it ride nice then realize you have 3'' of up travel or less.

I honestly haven't had issues with my shorter packs. In fact, they ride much better compared to my other truck. And they are THICK packs.

might be an archived page from google lol

Without weight I can see how they'd be miserable. My shorties ride nice, but as usual I am not content and if I don't do something to the truck I'll get bored with it. But I was thinking of replicating the Chevy's length because it is well documented and having a custom pack built for my weight since I'm on the edge of what my leafs are good for with my camping gear.

Yeah that's true. Giants link killer kit is a 63" SUA setup. Cycles 21" I think with 18" shocks.

I see nothing wrong with this. It was a glorious moment to exercise teamwork

Your still on the wheeler 5 packs with couple add a leafs? I was looking at there 8 pack leaf springs and adding a leaf in those lol. But I might keep my expo's for another year or 2 before the switch. Going to wait till I get the weight on the rig before the switch.

Yea 5 packs plus a long leaf from sky jacket pack and an aal.

Idk why but it's worked amazing for years.

However..they are bent now..which is the down side of short leafs. So new pack this year hopefully
