started doing some rewiring for the MSD 7AL 2 Box since the distributor is now powered by a magnetic pickup instead of a photo cell

    0612181656.jpg

8" Wire harness L/side of pic ..... Purple wire to M(+) terminal on MSD 7AL 2 Box ...... Green wire to M(-)on MSD Box

R/side of pic is the 6' magnetic trigger wire harness to the distributor

Magnetic trigger wire harness set up so I can disconnect from box or at Distributor if I need to weld so I can isolate the distributor from voltage spikes

Need to rewire the junction block and remove a couple wires , the "White " trigger wire especially and add in the new magnetic trigger wire

...lotta CAT muscle involved in the demo and clean up too. But I really like that Cummins. I've ran out of traction but not out of power.

It's great except for the bad weather. We are in Waves, about an hour south of Duck. I would love to get up that way.

It was old and a hazard and there was a hazard tree next to it. It was also too low to fit modern trailers/motor homes under. You can see where they kept lowering the dirt compared to the concrete slab. So, first (after clean up) I have to lay in some conduit for the new power, move the water service, raise the dirt grade back to concrete height then call in the guys for a new canopy.

I hope all goes well on the 29th Dan and that things turn out OK when it is all said and done and very good chance that it will be.

Sorry to hear about your father and hope things go well at Yale. Cardiology is pretty good there.

Still figuring out old stuff, but it was either an old camp host site or a caretaker site. Now it's for on-site cleaning contractors. We have 3 host sites, a maintenance site and 2 contractor sites in this area. Up north we have 4 host sites and a maintenance site and another area just has one host site. Not all have full hook ups, but all have some. I still have another old wood site to upgrade. The tin roofing blew off it last September but it's still structurally fine...just too low and not wide enough to accommodate newer rigs. But it's pretty low on the priority list...maybe next.year.

With all the Cali nonsense on the trucks now, W900s are to heavy.

Good morning friends! Hmmm, we been an emoji of a juggler... There's a lot on the plate to keep track of. Maybe I should smother it all in an extra large bottle of ketchup...

    I’ll tell ya.
Moving a one ton slab of concrete by yourself is not easy.
20 years ago it was but animals got under the slab and built homes.
So the mounds they made became locks so it won’t move.
Had to lift it and scrape the dirt out so I could move it an inch at a time.
Last time about 15min. This time 2 1/2 hours.
    I was exhausted.
All for a piece of wood to replace under the door.
Will need help putting it back.
    Door came out great.
So replace the wood, paint everything, move the slab back, and clean up.
Hopefully will be done by Sat. Working interferes with important shit.

Then next week I’ll paint the door to complete this project.
