Maybe he’s bitten off more than he can chew and needs to prioritize what he’s working on. Repeated delays and lack of emails, PM’s and communication were the reason for the ban.

It’s not our job to constantly babysit sellers and vendors on TW and if there is a pattern of behavior like this without attempts to make it better then we feel it’s in the better interest of TW if they aren’t members/sellers/vendors here.

I’m sure he’s a great guy. Never used his hubs but I’ve recommended him many times knowing what he does. I doubt he’d be okay ordering from someone with the same business practices. We live in a world of now. Amazon does well because you get nearly instant gratification when ordering from them. TW is a tough crowd as far as vendors go and I’m no better. Regardless, it doesn’t matter what either of us think at this point.

So a guy can “allegedly” be accused of having kiddy porn and he’s a victim welcomed back with open arms, but working a full time job while and not responding on here after repeatedly telling people to contact him via his website and your a criminal that’s not welcome on here:notsure:

Are you talking about bamatoy? If so his vendor status was removed and he’s been asked to not sell hubs on TW.

He’s the victim and welcomed back?!?! Not sure where that perception is coming from and he’s allowed here because he communicated with us and the members with outstanding orders.

    Not the case here

@4x4Runner could it be better for the sake of sorting everything quick and effectively to just closed down his thread/operations til it's all sorted but allow him to be able to get on and right the wrongs and the get the ball rolling with making everything kosher again?

Not long ago TW was quite forgiving with another member with worse track record that sales a very similar product once it was all "sorted" out....
I truly hope this can be sorted and allow him to resume opperations in TW.

Interestingly enough this is exactly what I wrote to him while discussing the situation this morning.

There are buyer expectations that a seller must meet. If a seller's issues become habit, we have to do something.

There was a vendor that wasn’t answering people. Someone found an article about him that said he was arrested for child porn and that maybe he was in jail. The guy eventually came back and gave a story about how he had a picture of his kid naked or something and that it ended up on someone’s computer etc etc. I don’t remember the whole story. Seemingly his business went back to normal after that and people bought the story.

Someone puts a brush guard on their truck and TW wants them dead. They look at pictures of naked kids and they are forgiven...

I think it’s a good idea that if you’re going to sell stuff on this site you make batches, post the quantities on hand and sell them according to a list/first-come.
Lots of guys are very successful with this strategy; it avoids all the stress and sets you free when life’s optempo picks up and motivation drops off.

Don't know anything about second gens but for first gens its a well known upgrade to use 13wl calipers off first gen tundras/sequoias, significantly larger and its a bolt on deal, just had to drill out the banjo a bit (or you can use stainless lines). I got a set of calipers, rotors, and pads from NAPA for right around $400 after returning the cores.

No. It’s true. Some people really do put brush guards on their trucks.

I remember the story, it went something like that:
He actually pleaded guilty, and went to prison.
History was that his back then underage daughter, was exchanging naked or whatever messages with her back then underage boyfriend on the family computer, which was owned by him. After High School daughter went to military, the meantime the former boyfriend's mother found some naked photos on their computer, and reported it to authorities. Overzealous DA was looking for a conviction, said he'd go after the daughter - ruin her life, so he has a father pleaded guilty to to spare the daughter's future.

    Some story, eh?

Wish I could find that thread .... Oh well
