Question. How do you get them to independently turn on without the DRL’s on?

Mine currently turn on with the DRLs, you could add a switch in between but then you would have to have the DRLs on and then turn the switch “on” for them to work.... so they would be somewhat independent. Or you could tap into a different fuse (one that is always on when the truck is on) and then add a switch and they would be basically independent

Anyone know if there is a TW code or some type of discount? spending 90 bucks on these lights seem a bit steep for what it is lol

No discounts, I asked before I decided to fabricate my own for $30. Mine have been working for about 6 months with no issues. I’m sure it is a great product, i just couldn’t justify the high price.

I agre. Just for 3 little lights and some brackets. Honestly, I would have bought it for the 79 even though that was steep, but then the total came out to around 90 dollars. Just not worth it at that point.
You’d think since a majority of their customers are on here we’d get some type of TW code lol

Not knocking OP’s kit, but at that price you are approaching a 3 pack of really high quality rock lights (Baja, Rigid, etc) that can be used for raptors as well.(that’s what I did) Just food for thought.

Do these kits come with a relay or just hooking them to a 12v switched source?

If you wire to DRL, will they stay on at all times while truck is on? If not, where can we wire to keep them on at all times?

Question: Instead of having to mess with the factory wires, will it be possible just to wired up a power/ground and have a rocket switch? I rather do it this way instead of having this lights on all the time.

It’s different for the 3rd gen ones since the DRL strip dims when the headlights come on so technically it won’t stay on when you turn on your headlights. Unless you have a SR5 model then yes bc they have the amber DRL.

Tap into the actual DRL wires, for the 3rd gens the side markers don’t turn on with just the DRL’s.

Edit, I tapped in to the orange, red and black DRL wires, if you need more help PM me.
