    Hi there, just purchased a new (to me) '99 Tacoma V6 SR5 TRD (5-speed manual) pickup. It is in fairly amazing shape, but am going through and draining/refilling all the fluids for safe measure. It has 217k miles but fewer than 3k miles in the last 5 years. Shifts like a dream, clutch is solid.

    I'm no gearhead, but I do like working on my own vehicles, so am excited to meet up with like-minded Tacoma owners.

    Owning a Tacoma has been a dream for me now for many years and am SUPER excited to own a 1st-gen Tacoma, as the styling and product offering is ideal in my opinion.

    Welcome to the forum. I didn't have to change the clutch on my 84 until it hit almost 150,000 miles so these things are solid. Enjoy your "new" truck.:thumbsup:

    Any idea what the torque is on the bolts for the 4x4 under engine cover? Don’t see it in the service manual
