A section of the test data is available to view. A majority of the test data is not for various reasons. One reason being a vast majority of people do not even understand the lingo or test measurements or testing requirements. Another reason being is that the independent testing company and facility requested that it remains confidential for now.

How are we all so confident that you would even be able to interpret such results if they were provided? We're not.

It's beyond ridiculous at this point. Majority of tuners who false advertise try to make up horsepower or play with dyno settings. Show me tuners that try to fake about emissions?

I still own my kit. I'm just not running it currently. I went back to stock to check to see if any changes were real vs placebo and any problems in driveability i noticed tuned vs stock.

Just to clarify, the tune is good. Like many said, not perfect, but good. But what many complain about stock, i don't have an issue with. My truck stock doesn't hunt for gears, upshifts when needed and down shifts when appropriate. Really the only downside I have right now is a more vauge throttle which I totally get why people don't like.

So the tune updates the throttle mapping for the first 3 gears but then uses almost stock like mapping for 4-6 (again, a known issue). That i don't like. Not sure how anyone really tolerates it. Based on the updated info on OVTune's site, that is something that will be addressed at some point. If I have not sold my kit, I may try that once released.

Power and MPG is another factor, some get better mpg, other's don't see a change. My MPG has remained roughly the same. But my truck is stock, others have more weight and taller tires and many many other factors that may reflect an improved MPG. I've actually never argued that.

Power is something that really only a dyno pull back to back on the same truck on the same day on the same machine will truly show a change. I also never argued that and even defended that you can have greater efficiency and more power especially with VVT and Atkinson cycle manipulation.

So yes, when a vendor/manufacturer posts something as factual but without underlying info, i question it. Again, sorry if that offends but others may find that information valueable when making a purchasing decision.

You've made it a point to explain that Toyota has contacted you and that dealers are selling trucks with your tunes applied. This goes along with that. Showing that the tune is not sacrificing emissions testing for performance. Not comparing you to another tuner regarding this.

Again, everyone's getting rather offended where no offense was intended. I just would have liked to know the parameters of the test vs a stock vehicle.

Example, stock tune gives us NOX particulate count of this, while OVTune gives a count of this and it's lower and lower is better. Pretty simple. And basically just cool to know. People don't learn about this stuff unless exposed and explained.

Your words to me constantly are the 4-6 problem. My 4-6 problem is the throttle dead zone vs 1-3. How is that 'False'? It's a problem that's not resolved.

Maybe one day you will understand that your personal, subjective experience does not equal fact for what we have done in the tune. Almost stock like... it's not even remotely the same.

Just like your trucks magical stock tune that has not a single issue that literally thousands of trucks have.

I guess "complies with ALL of Toyotas OEM federal Emissions requirements isn't a solid enough answer that it passes all emissions tests..

How absolutely ridiculous. Many companies make parts and CARB them, companies make tunes and CARB them. The emissions test results change, but COMPLY and pass.

    But that's not good enough?

Did you even care about emissions when you bought your tune?

ugh, we all have subjective experiences driving these trucks. how many people have posted subjective personal experiences that differ from others.

my comment of stock like, is not saying that you didn't change anything, only that it 'feels' stock like in those gears vs the very obvious mapping changes in 1-3. From day one, i've always said linear consistent throttle is important for daily driving. 1-3 are great, 4-6 feel stock. that difference makes for a poor driving experience. though i can't find the page linked on your site, you mentioned that the dead zone is something you are aware of and being worked on. that's good news.

May be a bad time, things seem less than chill in here but can someone link me or just give me more information on Toyota inquiring about/using this tune on factory trucks? What exactly has been revealed with regards to that?

There is nothing. There was an inquiry about Toyota using our software for their road race Camrys and it somehow got twisted into me giving the tune to toyota.

Now that your tune has passed all of the Federal Emissions tests does this mean that you can now remove the "off road use only" statement in your terms and conditions?

BTW, just ignore Bubba and the other malcontents since 99% of your users love what you are doing. Considering all of the ridiculous hours you have put into your tunes you really need to take a week off sometime with your family and just go offline. I know because I also have workaholic tendencies and sometimes you need to have your batteries recharged. You will be more efficient in the long run. Thanks for your great work.

You sure go out of your way to slam the tune every chance you get!

We get it, you didn't like the tune 100%, but dude... Move on. You're like a teenage girl trying to slam her ex boyfriend every single chance they get.

For someone who hasn't really noticed all the issues that others have encountered, would the updates/gains still be noticeable with the tune?
