already impressed with JBA, read through the thread from @0uTkAsT a bit, ordered my control arms, and just now got an email confirming shipping with tracking number...

although firestone called me back and said theyre having a hard time getting the tires, asked if i was opposed to other brands, i told them no so they are seeing what they can do. i figured $655 was too good and someone may have messed up somewhere.

Wow you have the Montage of Heck on vinyl! Nirvana is my favorite band of all time. That's a great album.

But I thought tire clearance was the key benefit of the upper arms? The caster is nice, but the taco isn’t your daily.

Welp, finally got part of my AZ initiation over with I guess...

It’s very low and maybe 3/8” across, what is the consensus of chips like that? Let it roll and gamble on a crack or get it fixed?

I have windshield coverage on my insurance, I think it’s the 1 incident per year 0 deductible setup.

If you wanna wait to see if it cracks you can always get it filled for now. Might save you you're only replacement windshield.

Just had mine replaced Monday.. I had 3 or 4 large chips and 2 cracks running right through my field of view. Took me about 2 years to replace it. Lol you'll have to pull your ditch lights off for them to get to the bottom corners. I used Safelite. Good dudes.

Oh yeah @JTB727. I dunno how to TW from a phone.

Big (ish) tires on stock wheels are kind of my thing though. Gotta keep everything tucked.

I think these will still have more clearance than the stock arm, the stock arms being cast have a ton of material on the outside if the BJ. Im hoping i dont rub, I crawled in the wheel well to see how much room is there, it may be close but i think i may barely clear.

so firestone called me back, they said the only thing they can get me in 315/75/16 to compete with discount on the falken AT's is the firestone destination MT. It has good reviews, and ive known people that have firestone tires on their cars and regular trucks with good luck but I'm a little hard on tires, and this isnt a car. thoughts? I have 30 days to return them if i hate them.

Inch or a mile clearance is clearance. Bro Truck rubs the spindle slightly, no harm.

I only really question it when I'm aired down and the tire is bulging. But i think we will be fine like you said.

When you air down the tire is going to bulge where it contacts the ground, not up there (itleast not a measurable amount). You should be good.

Good point. I was thinking about it backwards for whatever reason.
