I guess it all depends how much it bothers you.
Spot putty, block sand with 400 grit, duplicolor spay, mask & paper if you didn't want to remove it. Personally I'd remove it to do the job. OR just a couple dabs of touch up paint. If money isn't an issue it would be a good excuse to replace with a real functional bumper. Something I intend on doing because I'll have to save up for it because for me money IS an issue.
It's a really small blemish, not very significant. But if it's going to bother you every time you look at it then repair or replace. You only go around once in life do whatever will make you happy. You need to decide what's right for you.
It would have been nice if Toyota had put a real bumper on there to start with lIke the step bumper on my 2011.
That rear bumper system along with the oil filter setup are the only two things that I don't like about my 3rd gen.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
    Not today, but yesterday...

Back story first: About a week or so ago, I had new wheels, tires, and struts/shocks put on. When I went to pick it up, the owner of the shops says "By the way, did you know you're missing a band clamp off one of your front CV boots? I'd take it to the dealer, they should be able to replace that under warranty." So I called the nearest dealership and talked to the service manager. She says "Sure, but you'll need to swing by so we can take a look at what part you're going to need so we can order it. You can schedule some time later to have it installed."

Okay, fine. Let's see... I'll have to wait until there's a tech available, he'll stick his face under there, then go see the parts people to find the part number and get it ordered. Of course, there will be paperwork. I'm figuring 20 minutes, tops.

I was there for a freakin' hour and a half. After the first hour, I'm thinking "Maybe they're going to surprise me, have the part on hand, and just install right then." Nope.
It could be that the only reason they were able to accomplish this task in a mere 90 minutes was that it was getting near closing time. :annoyed:

(They told me to figure on 2 to 3 hours to install the part.)

What did you have in mind for a replacement bumper?

Still exploring my options and price of course. So far FabFour is in the lead. Lots of choices available. Some I like some I don't, none of the cheap!

It's just a big T right? Is that what you're asking?

You're both more perceptive than I. Didn't see it until you mentioned it.

And to this day I've never seen one of those hidden images you stare into that'll show a separate image. You know the ones where someone says, just stare through it, it's a sailboat, nope. I just see blurry dots.
