    I have a 2004 tacoma and the frame is badly rusted. I never got a notice but did go to the dealership last year and was told there was nothing they could do for me. Am I out of luck?

    I have an 04. Missed it by one year. Can't drive it anymore. There are cracks all through out the frame. Looks like it wouldn't take much for it to break apart.

    Timbrens are $214 from Wheelers , body and sway bar bushings cost $113 from CARid, Rack bushings from Amazon are around $50. Dealer said no problem .

    Well something like that happened to me the dealer told me that Toyota wouldn’t cover my frame and never gave me solid reason. So I called Toyota and told them the dealer said Toyota won’t cover my frame. The Toyota rep looked into it said we will cover you with a brand new replacement. Then my wife car faxed my truck and it does have salvaged title the crappy dealer fudged the first car fax when I bought the truck. Long story short call or write a letter to Toyota they will battle to keep you as a loyal customer. As of 3 weeks ago I have a brand new frame under my truck.

    Little update for us Canadians, I received a letter in the mail that a new class action lawsuit is in the works for 09-10 trucks. Should have final verdict Sept. 2018.

    Previously in Canada the frame replacement only covered 2005-2008 trucks, now being expanded to 2005-2010!

    Sadly, I think my 2010 frame was undercoated enough that their wont be a 10mm perforation, just shitty amounts of rust over the entire thing.

    That's the site I signed up to, and from whom I received the letter yesterday. Also included in the letter was a piece of paper from Toyota outlining what can be done at this time: We can get out trucks inspected as early as July 21 2018, prior to the anticipated decision date of September 7 2018
