Must be from @rrentrop because I got mine from him back in Jan-Feb 2016. Great quality! Still on the truck! but these new ones with raised letters caught my attention.

Lol I felt the same way  way more horsepower with those letters! I got the ones you originally posted and they’ve been great. That was before I joined the forums and saw all the different vendors. @rrentrop has some great options too for black badge alternatives

Just curious why the raised letters would be considered an upgrade over vinyl. Other than the higher cost, the look is virtually the same from most angles and further from 10 feet. I think it is more a personal preference than an upgrade to have the letters filled in vs. embossed.

I’m def not an expert on decal/Vinyl/Stickers but to me the raised letters just looks nicer than the flat stickers. Yup, just my preference.

Oracal 951 matte black is rated to last 10 plus years with no cracking, peeling, and shrinking, and it has the highest level of UV protection in the industry. We back these claims with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own your vehicle.

    Hi guys,

Interesting thread, whether you're into vinyl or embossed. I looked around and found letters ranging from a few bucks to around $100 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MXT8KJ4?th=1).

I'm ok with $40-50 but is there any actual added value with $100 letters...??

Side note, I'm hesitating between (matte) black and grey/carbon for my Taco. Been playing with the computer, not super accurate but gives an idea. Not sure if chrome would look good. Thoughts?
