Any chance in the near future yakima or thule bars can be installed on top of tent so I could strap a canoe on top? I would sell my current setup immediately if this could happen.

Yes but none on the current offerings, roof rack will be integrated and standard on my soon to be new offering. It’s aimed at the premium market

Oh Chandler I meant to ask if you would be doing stickers or a logo now that you have a brand name. I have a lot of folks ask me what my tent is and I'm like "Oh it's a Chandler special". But to be able to put a sticker or something on the tent would be great.

One of the reasons I stepped this direction with the tents. I know that it’s the same tent with or without a brand but I also know that people move on and sell things or just someone asking about the tent for themselves. That’s where branding matters, it shows a value for a product and a places someone can read up on their own instead of having to ask the guy who has an unbranded tent on their truck.

But yes, I’m working on a getting stickers made for every tent that will have a logo and name

I have seen one in the market that I think can do 100-150lbs has mounting bars built into the shell. the current standard, I would not recommend putting anything on top. you could probably get away with like a duffel or something under 50lbs spread out but will be a wind anchor. just my .02.

Yeah, Roofnest makes a model that will hold 100 pounds. This is exactly what I am looking for, except I hope @ChandlerDOOM 's new model will allow bars to be mounted further apart for ease of canoe strapping and transport.

I don't have my tent yet - but I would assume if the weight is distributed properly we can add some tracks and crossbars on top to support a light load and even install uprated gas struts to help with lifting the top.

My main concern would be the towers for the crossbars punching through the fiberglass top so we need to be careful to spread the weight out properly (very specific of me I know)

you probably could, I don't recommend it. would say for sure you will have to upgrade the gas struts!

Any price cuts if it is picked up? Looks like an awesome option, little more lo-pro and can imagine the ease of use. RTTs are a whole new can of worms, but I want one bad.

Hahah, I know the feeling. While everyone was receiving the 3rd generation I still had my 1st tent, Now that has been sold I am using a salvaged v2 tent and everyone will be receiving the 4th generation tents soon.

It just depends, just have to keep at it on the computer until I get something I really really like

If its something with enough interest I can see what I can do, personally I am not huge on the design as it really doesn't allow for much options as you only get the center area for storage.
