Are you right handed and is it hard to grab? Doesn't look like a lot of space between the grip and the truck. Is it hard to draw?

Not to mention the real estate it consumes where my leg likes to reside.

Don't get me wrong....I'm all about carrying, but that config would never work for me.

I suppose it's all about customizing to your own needs.

Atlas 46 tool roll pouch to keep tools in. Very nice bag, This thing should last as long as the truck. One of my boys will probably lose it for me before it wears out. www.Atlas46.com

    Wow. That's pretty cool.

This guy's video shows pretty well how much that thing can hold.

I haven't moved my tools into the Taco yet as I've been kinda' dreading it (figuring they were going to take up more space than I would like). This is worth looking into.

It touches my leg,but not in the way.i saw it in the thread where people were mounting their firearms. Another member had the exact holster and mount and mentioned he and a friend didn’t have any issues where it was! I was pondering driver, passenger, center console..I just drove around to see how it fits.
Too long a reach on passenger side, and really didn’t like it in the console.Airbag under the steering column..
It draws fine and I can make it looser or tighter if I want with the brand holster I have.it sits out far enough I can grab it securely.i can move it closer to the console with two screw holes or reconfigure where the holster sits outside with the mount closer to the console.gonna go with it for now..since I am right handed, seemed better than nothing!

Thanks! I've often looked at mounting in this area but haven't known anyone in person that has done it so I haven't been able to get "hands-on" to see if I like it. I hope it serves you well. Looks great!

I can full appreciate not wanting to do house junk... or laundry.

I have to ask... What kind of insulation is that on your roof? I see the word "combustible". Wouldn't happen to be "non-combustible", would it?

I've got a detached garage and insulated the walls with fiberglass, then put up drywall. When it came do doing the roof, I could not find an insulation that wasn't flammable and there was no way in hell I was putting up a cathedral-style drywall ceiling in the garage.

It is non combustible. Its 1 inch foam but my shop is 30 years old and its getting kind of flaky. I never put in walls or a ceiling, just went with "as is".

Finally installed my Mobtown Offroad aluminum tail gate liner...

I'm starting to make a small dent in the number of boxes sitting around.
