Got my baby 5gal propane tank filled today... they said it would only take 3.7gal of propane though after purging it multiple times.

 

Ummm... that doesn’t sound quite right.

Each person/family bring a main dish, hopefully something from your cultural heritage (I'll bring a Filipino main dish.) Dessert is very optional(I have found that we end up with too many desserts if everyone brought.)

BRING YOUR OWN PLATES,SILVERWARE/PLASTICWARE/SERVING SPOONS/CUPS/BEER MUGS/WINE GLASSES, etc.

If you don’t exactly know what to bring just yet, let me know if MAIN dish, SIDE dish, DESSERT, BEVERAGE, etc.

I hope not, because propane is something like 4lbs per gallon, so if he's somehow squeezed 3.7 gallons of propane into a 1 gallon container...That'd be like @mach1man001 fitting 30 gallons into his 30lb water heater.

Wow! Your trip sounds fantastic! I've moved now to Island Pond in the heart of the NEK. If anyone is ever up this way I'm close to Kingdom Trails, Lake Willoughby, several ponds, Silvio Conte, Coleman State Park NH plus everything else out in the middle of nowhere. Folks can park in my driveway. Plus I have an outdoor hot tub on the deck. Trailside for sledding.
Love Quechee Gorge and the Falls in Bristol are awesome

 

A 5 pound cylinder should be about 1.18 gallons of propane (I have two of these 5 pound bad boys)

Or each gallon of propane is 4.2 pounds

So, if you got 3.7 gallons of propane, then yes, your tank is about 313.6% full. Lol.

If you got 3.7 pounds of propane, then your tank is 74% full

If you have a 5 gallon tank. Then you have a giant 21 pound propane tank, not a baby tank.

 

Where's the beer??
