I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Normal small shovel would be better but I only carry a folding shovel. Me hopes to not have to use but I have it just in case

My exact thought process; I'm not sure how much/often I'll really need it to want to mount/store the normal one but, I do have spots/space for it in the bed.

I like a regular old spade. Lowe's Kobalt standard spade is what I carried in the bed of my taco, and throw on the rack of my FJ when I wheel. ( Also used to pick up dog shit) I've had a few of the folding ones break and the regular Lowe's one has been going strong for probably 6 years

I've been too cheap to turn on the central air since it's been cool at night. Consequently everything in my house is now yellow

I went with a similar approach, but I use a transfer shovel rather than a spade, for the higher capacity over a spade. Still nice and rugged for dirt/gravel, but holds more loose material (gravel, mulch, dirt, snow, etc)

Folding is probably ok for an emergency, but if you've got to dig especially in new England you want a solid shovel vs folding due to all the damn rocks we grow here. Plus when I slam that thing down and smash the push plate with my heel I want to be sure it's not gonna split in half

Yeah, I also just looked at shovel prices and the folding ones are just stupid on pricing. I'll just grab a normal one for 1/5 the price then use the rest of the savings towards mounts.

Got the foam cannon thing yesterday, so figured wash the car, truck and bike real quick last night. Came out this morning and they looked worse from the dam pollen and tree seeds.

My buddy got me that krazy beaver shovel/weapon for my bday this past year. I lost it in my storage room and just found it for this trip.

Anyone here run into any issues for inspection with the new camera system and having a mild lift?

I'm well under the 3.64" lift limit of the MA 540 CMR 6 forumula at 3.04", but it's my own curiosity. I suppose if they wanted to be really picky they could get me for having flush tires, but I'd argue they're an OEM accessory option, so who knows. I'd have no issue bringing my truck to a MAC station as it sits, but I'm interested to hear.

I'm selling my 3G OEM suspension (gouging a bit on FB / CL...don't judge me) and part of me is wondering if I should keep it around just in case, but I feel like I'm serious overthinking it. My truck doesn't look all that tall and I'm not running overly large tires.

I don't think it'll be an issue. It's really no different than before besides the camera

In theory I 100% agree...hearing stories of people being turned away by overzealous inspectors makes me a bit concernicus. The Vette has a Corsa catback, but it's real quiet, so I'm not worried too much. If I still had the STi I'd be real nervous.

My wife gave me the green light to build a plywood bed cover until I finally get a cap. I get to give it a go this weekend :D
