Dont know if i want to drive 7 hr all at once. Might stop to fish & camp at Dale Hollow dam for a night. Then eventually find you all on Friday afternoon.

I bought my bigger and longer U bolts new from a local shop for $60 when I did the flip. Daniel's price is fair.

Supposedly good fishing there. Trout in the Red River as well. This part of the state, and a bit west, think south of Lexington, is known for smallmouth bass.

The stock tires aren't street tires, they're ATs, didn't get stuck. The off-road stock AT tires are really good in my opinion.

The last 2 trips I've made to RRG, I couldn't help but notice the ruts seem to be growing deeper with all the increased traffic. Most of the terrain is rocky base, which makes tire tread type less relevent, albeit still important. MORE important is tire height. There are places where anything less than 33" will struggle. Especially when it is wet.

Driver mod still single most important factor.
Heat of summer SHOULD help dry some of the mud.

When we went 3 weeks ago, there were 2 Jeeps with mild ATs. The did OK. 2 T4Rs with stock ATs. They struggled mightily. Difference was driver ability from what we could surmise .

^^ That's a lot further north than the point posted earlier....maybe it doesn't matter, maybe it's close enough it'll be obvious....

That is quite a bit more north.

Honestly, if camp now stays here, people will see the camp before they can get to it. After the right turn at the T, the trail has no other intersections until the creek bed that a left turn will lead you back to the camp you saw across the creek

Curious how visible is it from across the creek with leaves on the trees

This is true. Might be a bit more dense than was in April. But opposite side of the creek from camp, the trail is higher.

I don't have that one installed either. Does Wheelers sell it?
