I don't know which UCA is the best, but i bought and installing this week the ICON Billet with Delta joints, i like them and think they'll be fine for what i am going to use my truck for..

There are plenty more options out there..

For 6" drop bracket lifts, use a UCA with adjustable heim pivot joints; ICON Billet, Total Chaos, Camburg Kinetic, Rokmen, True Travel, etc...

    I’m a big fan of JBA’s.

Bolt in, 1/2 Ton Chevrolet Ball Joints, fully greaseable, lifetime warranty, made to easily align lifted vehicles, in stock and competively priced. We run them on our shop trucks and I’ve installed quite a few sets.

I've wanted to run JBA's over SPC's, but what has me worried is that per JBA they say to use wheels with 4.5" backspace with 285's, but my wheels are 3.5" BS and I plan to run 285's. Think ill be okay?

No, you’d need spacers. That’s the only disadvantage to them IMO. The ball joints are large and the flange that’s welded to the arms where the ball joint bolts in to is larger than most. I don’t have issues with the ones on our trucks but we are running 255’s on them, not 285’s. I had 285’s on a prior truck with the JBA’s and had to run spacers.

    That's odd but okay,

Just after seeing this I thought if my BS was lower the tire would actually be farther away from the UCA than a 4.5" BS

Ha, shit. I read it wrong, you’ll be fine. Can’t be less than 4.5”. Sorry. It’s really late here and I’m preparing for bed.
