I have been considering a polymer tank so I don’t have to worry about rust but I’ll make a hinged skid plate system for it so it’s easy to remove. I appreciate the confidence though

I still have a Zodi shower that worked well in our tent days.
The next trailer will definitely only have a fresh water tank. Mo more gray or black to deal with on short weekends so probably going with either a cassette or composting setup.

I don't know if it's the proper way to do it, but I just used a pair of branch connectors at the controller box. I had to cut the one mc4 connector off the leg of each Y connector to screw it to the controller.

Sun YOBA 1 Pair Y Type PV Solar Panel Cable Connectors MC4 Male Female M/F Wire Branch Connectors https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019325Z5A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_ZH.hBbMR670YB

    20180612_185411.jpg
You can see the positive leads for each combined set of panels hooked to the branch connector that is in turn connected to the positive side of the control panel, and likewise the negative leads to the branch connector and into the control panel.
The roof panels are branch connected to the one positive lead and the portables are branch connected to the other.

Does that make sense? If not come on out, I'll show it to you

Also, the roof panels were wired reverse of the portable panels ( they were Zamp ready ), so I had to switch the mc4 connectors on the wiring to make all the positives/negatives match their respective connectors to the control panel.

We got our 40 gallon tank from Plastic Mart. They have a ton of different sizes but will do a custom tank. I forget what ours cost, I'll have to look it up sometime.

We use a Triton water heater. It is carried in a pelican box permanently mounted on the side of the teardrop. We've got a 40 gallon water tank and a shur flo pump. When we get to camp it's just a matter of connecting the water line and propane line to get a hot shower. We also use the Green Elephant fir a shower house. In our experiences over the last several years it's been the easiest to set up and roomiest shower house we've used. It's tall and wide at the top do your not hitting your head our dragging your arms all over the sides. It collapses down to almost nothing and is very light weight.....

Hence where we got the green elephant idea from. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing their shower setup and it’s very functional

Shit happens  Washed the camper after moving it from its winter slumber . Had it all opened up in the yard with the awning open to dry and the wind grabbed it and over the roof it went breaking the arms a pulling a bracket out of the front corner of the roof . F@#&ing pissed . 2015 Jayco bought new and “was” in new condition . Now will cost me a minimum of $500 to fix . :annoyed::spending::facepalm:

    Bought it.

Well, my second trailer. First one, an a-frame, is up for sale. Picking up a new RPod 176 on Friday. I'll be swapping my Progressive Industries EMS into it, and installing a MicroAir Easy Start into the AC pretty much as soon as I get it home.
