I need beach.

July 7th can't get here fast enough.

 

I know how you feel. My wife and I couldn't make our trip last year and we both could tell all year we need that escape. You gotta make time to relax and not have anywhere to be for a stint.

 

I haven't had a "do nothing, relax" vacation in years. Last year was wheeling in Moab for my only vacation, and this year was working in Haiti, so I'm thankful to have the ability/time to get to the beach this year. I have no idea how people do 3 or more vacations a year.

 

Me neither. People here in this very office do it somehow. We don't have anything planned to do at the beach other than go sit on the beach. We make it up as we go. Hopefully a guy I know will be able to take us out for Snapper one day but if that doesn't happen I'm fine with it.

 

no plans is the best plans for the beach. I can't wait to sit on my ass all day with a beer in my hand. we won't plan anything, just go with the flow.

That's cool. Looks like a neat place. We stay at a house in a neighborhood off Cotton Bayou.

i always go to PCB because there's a 5th wheel camper there on an acre lot.

 

btw, if you ever buy a used OEM bed cover do not use toyota bolts, I snapped 4 of them. I was able to get 2 back out with vice grips. gonna get other 2 out this weekend.

go ahead and go to lowes and grab you a pack of hex head bolts.

however tools are dry and I get more peace of mind leaving them in bed.

 

it's super nice. gets really well taken care of because all of the owners are older and since it's on the bay side it doesn't really appeal to the younger generations so it's not a party place or anything just great for relaxing. being a surf and racquet club you know it attracts the old folks that want to play tennis and such, and the bay fishing is great.

Thirdly, EFF all yall talking about being/going/planning beach ish. My new family addition knocked out 3 days of PTO and a crap ton of moolah so no beach or vacation for us this year
